About Al Sedighravesh

Al Sedighravesh is the co-founder and CEO of Rather Be Properties, a multi-market vacation rental management company operating across California, Arizona, and North Carolina's Outer Banks. Al's path to vacation rentals runs through more than a decade in the residential mortgage industry, where he ranked in the top 1% of mortgage originators nationwide from 2015 to 2022, followed by 35+ home flips and private equity experience. That foundation shows up in how Rather Be Properties operates today: disciplined financial systems, trust-account-level accounting rigor, and data-driven revenue management, paired with the design and hospitality standards Elissa brings from her five-star resort background. As broker-in-charge, Al leads sales, owner relationships, and strategy personally. He is known for pairing AI-assisted tools and automation with hands-on human oversight — building an operation designed to scale across state lines without losing the personal touch owners signed up for. In the Outer Banks, he grew the portfolio from one door to eleven in roughly 18 months through purely organic growth. Outside of work, Al is a husband, father of two, an avid Martial Arts practitioner, and a lifelong builder — of houses, businesses, and systems.
